(1: Well hello, honey boo boos. It's been a while since the last article, again. 2: Last time I mentioned our upcoming graduation exhibition and my new graphic novel. 3: "Ripuli" ((Diarrhea)) is not the actual name, although the need to sit and push things out of my system was great.)

 

(But anyway like it's Called Vahinkoraja or Damage Limit in English  and it's approx. 40 pages in lenght and in color and it's a story about how even grown up people who are totally independent and self sufficient can begin to doubt oneself if you push the right buttons and it's got excitement and romance and a lot of emotion...)

 

(But of course you are allowed to take a look at these pages, although they are still incomplete.)

(What does the future hold for this piece, I don't know. Maybe it will be published through Kumiorava, maybe not. Maybe we'll make it to Essen*, maybe not. Obviously I want to have more than 30 copies of this around.)

 

(But yeah, this will be on display at Mältinranta Art Center and the exhibition opens on Friday during the Tampere Kuplii comics festival weekend. The first batch is only 30 copies because of our pretty meager budget, so unfortunately I won't be selling it through my blog.)

Taidekeskus Mältinranta ja TR1 ovat molemmat ihan Kupliin lähietäisyydellä. Mältinranta sijaitsee kivenheiton päässä Finlaysonilta osoitteessa Kuninkaankatu 2 (tässä karttalinkki)  Ja TR1 on Kupliissa kävijöille tuttu TR1 sijaitsee heti Väinö Linnan aukiolla, ihan naurettavan lähellä siis!

Mältinranta Art Center and TR1 are both right in the close proximity of the Kuplii festival area. Mältinranta is on Kuninkaankatu 2 (here's the map) and TR1 is right in Finlayson on Väinö Linnan aukio, virtually in the same area as the festival!

Näyttelyn avajaiset ovat 28.3., Mältinrannassa kello. 16-18 ja TR1:ssä kello 18-20. TR1:ssä näyttely kestää 13.4. asti ja Mältinrannassa 14.4. asti.

Exhibition opens on 28th of March and continues until 13th of April (TR1) and 14th of April (Mältinranta). The exhibition opens at 4 PM in Mältinranta and continues in TR1 at 6 PM.

Eli selvennykseksi, sarjakuva on siis sekä luettavissa ETTÄ ostettavissa Taidekeskus Mältinrannassa. Ennakkotilauksia en ota, koska tämä painoerä on niin pieni.
Just to be more clear, you can both buy and read Damage Limit in Mältinranta. I won't take any pre-orders as 30 copies is a very small batch.
